Terms of Use
Ondim Pty Ltd · info@ondim.co.za · Draft v1, July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Ondim ("the Service"), operated by Ondim Pty Ltd, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. What Ondim is — and is not
Ondim offers incident reporting and alerts, personal safety check-ins, neighbourhood watch coordination tools, and crowdsourced area safety ratings.
Ondim is NOT an emergency response, security, or medical dispatch service. It does not monitor check-ins in real time on your behalf and does not dispatch help. In an emergency, always contact your local emergency services directly.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of what you post.
4. User-generated content
Incident reports, ratings, and comments remain yours, but you grant Ondim a licence to display them within the service. Do not post false, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content — we may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms.
5. Subscriptions & payments
Paid subscriptions are billed by Ondim Pty Ltd through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by South African consumer law.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ondim Pty Ltd is not liable for harm arising from reliance on alerts, check-ins, ratings, or any other feature, including delayed, missed, or inaccurate notifications.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service. You may close your account at any time.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
